The inhabitants of Latgale Zoo are ready to meet visitors

Latgale Zoo in Daugavpils, which is one of the most popular tourist attractions and a favorite place for families, is open to visitors starting from 27 May, 2020. In keeping with the restrictions and safety measures decreed by the government, up to 11 visitors will be allowed to visit Latgale Zoo at the same time, keeping 2 m distance. It is also recommended to avoid touching different surfaces - railings, borders, terrarium glass, and informative stands.

DAUGAVPILS TOURIST INFORMATION CENTRE RESUMES PROVIDING SERVICES TO VISITORS

Starting from 16 May 2020, Daugavpils Tourist Information Centre (TIC) is open to visitors. In keeping with the restrictions and safety measures decreed by the government, up to 3 visitors will be allowed to visit Daugavpils TIC at the same time, keeping 2m distance. At the moment, it is possible to book walking tours around the city, accompanied by a guide, for groups up to 10 people wearing face masks.

Spring events at Latgale Zoo in Daugavpils

Daugavpils received protective face masks from Harbin

Harbin is a sister city of Daugavpils in the People`s Republic of China. The cooperation agreement was concluded on January 6, 2003. During this time, a very productive and warm friendship has developed. Once again, at a difficult time, friends in China responded and provided assistance, although the situation in Harbin is also difficult. 1800 protective face masks have been sent from Harbin to the sister city in Latvia.
