The visit of the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China and his team to Daugavpils is a proof that the cooperation continues. The program of the visit included meetings that helped to see new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, medicine, culture and art. The nearest goals and plans were set, as well as common points of interest were found, which could enrich the cultural and social life of both Daugavpils and the entire Latgale region. Reasons for productive and mutually beneficial cooperation can also be seen in the fields of sports, education, tourism and medicine".
