During the Career week young people met the entrepreneurs of Daugavpils City news

On the 28th of November in Daugavpils City Council passed one of the Career week' events - a meeting with businessmen under the motto "Start the business!" It was opened by Daugavpils City Council First Vice-chairman Vitalijs Azarevičs.

«All of you must make a serious choice - what to become? Local government finds very important the development of entrepreneurship, to appear young and active entrepreneurs, so you are the future of the city. I wish you to make the right choice, and your outlook on life to be an active and optimistic», Mr. Azarevich emphasized.

Vitalijs Azarevičs believes that Career week is a very good idea and a great opportunity for young people to learn about opportunities. For the government of Daugavpils very important role is played by professional guidance and schools have specialists in this area. This is important because young, creative, talented, well-educated people are the hope of the future.

During the event, young people were given the opportunity to get acquainted to the city's industry, the development of government, the main trends, and career opportunities.

Youngsters met representatives of the Latvian chamber of trade and industry was presented the experience of University of Daugavpils, experience of 12th secondary school in the improvement of professional work. Youth met the representatives of company "Axon cable", Shot casting factory, representatives of print service "7 days a week."
